“Human-computer Interaction” was my favourite paper during my degree, but it didn’t occur to me at the time that UX was a career I could pursue.

Frontend developer
I pursued the web development route after graduating.
Seeking a mix of visual creativity and problem-solving, I found enjoyment in frontend development and collaborated with various team members to create websites for clients.
2023
FE Dev + Accessibility Specialist
I took on an opportunity to become a web accessibility specialist.
This role changed the way I viewed accessibility and continues to influence the way I approach my work today.
i quickly became the company accessibility expert 😎
i soon became a full-time dev, part-time aspiring designer ✏️
2025
UI/UX Design
I realised that UI/UX Design was the role I was searching for.
Over time, I came to realise that UI/UX design fulfilled the combination of creative expression and critical thinking that I had been seeking in a career.
